Falling Behind
So I created this blog to be able to look back on and I'm already falling behind. So here is an update to get me back on track.... The very beginning of this month I found out that I will be teaching pre-k special Ed next year. I have mixed emotions about it. I'm very sad to leave kindergarten but God has bigger plans for me and I truly believe everything happens for a reason. My love for kindergarten will never change and I feel I will always have a desire to teach kindergarten, and maybe someday I will again. I am so thankful and blessed that I got to teach it my very first year of teaching. Not to mention I have had the best parapro, class and parents!! So my feelings for pre-k special Ed are nothing but positive! yes, I'm nervous but I'm excited at the same time.
On May 3rd my class celebrated Cinco de Mayo with our book buddies in Ms. McDaniels class. We studied Mexico and the Hispanic culture. We played fun games and ate delicious Mexican food.
On May 4-6 I spent my weekend in Rome, Ga. for one of my best friends wedding. It was a wonderful weekend spent with friends and I was so excited to be apart of their special day. being in Rome made me really miss college and the memories that were made there.
